The SPC ProVital Story

Whilst SPC has been around for over 100 years, SPC ProVital multi-serve pureed fruits were launched in 2003 at our Shepparton Victoria facility in the heart of the Goulburn Valley fruit-growing district.  The SPC ProVital range was further expanded in 2016 to include portion-control diced fruit and Level 4 Pureed Fruit in accessible packaging.  The accessible design was created in consultation with industry experts with the aim of providing a superior range of quality Australian fruit and vegetable-based products.

Specifically, the SPC ProVital snack cup range has been developed using guidelines established by Arthritis Australia in conjunction with Dr. Brad Fain of Georgia Tech Institute, along with the ability to test the packaging effectiveness with HealthShare NSW. The aim is to provide an accessible fruit snack for people with fine motor skill difficulties, whether through age or other health-related considerations.

The SPC ProVital brand offers a range of great tasting products that address health conditions, including dysphagia, to encourage positive nutritional choices.  We supply products in a variety of pack sizes from portion control to large format (A10 cans) for back of house kitchens.
